The chef, Tanya Headley, has been cooking since childhood and has had many opportunities to grow into her craft. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Tourism Administration from the George Washington University in Washington DC. Working mostly in the administrative side of hospitality as a conference/event planner and facility manager Tanya initially found herself cooking more in her spare time than in her work life.
Upon moving to Santa Fe she continued to work in hospitality. Cooking became a large part of her duties managing a bed and breakfast/retreat space in Cerrillos, NM. Tanya decided to continue her education and hone her cooking skills by enrolling in the Santa Fe Community College Culinary Arts Program where she concentrated on culinary fundamentals and baking.
Tanya began cooking privately for clients in 2005 and Everything Edible was born. Specializing in healthful balanced cuisine, she loves to experiment with various recipes and flavors. Her simple and honest dishes always have a twist and she is adept at presenting familiar or new dishes in the most surprising ways.
Tanya is often described as dedicated and hard-working. She possesses a certain calm and ease while working in the kitchen. She continuously searches for ways to improve her knowledge of food and her skills in the kitchen in order to be better at her craft and better serve her clients.
